There are love stories—and then there are the ones that feel like they belong in a movie.

Chi-Dao and Savannah’s proposal was one of those magical moments that felt like time stood still. Set in an elegant private room at Porzana in Minneapolis, the evening was filled with warmth, romance, and the kind of thoughtfulness that takes your breath away. The room glowed softly under candlelight, setting the perfect atmosphere for what was to come. A string quartet played Savannah’s favorite songs, creating an intimate soundtrack to the evening. Every single detail felt intentional—because it was.

As they walked into the room hand-in-hand, Savannah was immediately overcome with emotion and excitement- it all hit her at once. Chi-Dao gently led her to the center of the room, where he dropped to one knee, and asked if she would spend forever with him. Through happy tears, she said yes!

After the proposal, we did a short photo shoot to capture their joy and love! They were glowing! But Chi-Dao had one more surprise in store. As Savannah was still soaking in the moment, the door slowly opened—and one by one, friends and family began to enter the room. The room quickly filled with laughter, hugs, and heartfelt congratulations. Then, just when Savannah thought the moment couldn’t get any more special, her parents walked in—flown in all the way from Utah. It was as if they had saved the best for last. The joy on her face said it all. This wasn’t just a proposal—it was a celebration of love, thoughtfully planned and shared with everyone who means the most.

What made the evening even more meaningful were the deeply personal touches Chi-Dao had so thoughtfully planned. Photos of their relationship were scattered across the tables, each one telling a chapter of their love story. And at the center of it all sat a stunning gold Timberwolves basketball, custom-made and engraved with the date of their very first date—a game they attended together. It was the perfect tribute to where it all began, blending their shared love for basketball with the beginning of their forever.

This proposal was not just about the question—it was about creating an experience that reflected who they are as a couple: thoughtful, loving, and deeply connected.
